Guardian of the Editorial

Appearance: Arthur E Hastings looks extremely human. Very much like Arthur as a human. The main difference being that he's made entirely of static. Looking like he stepped right out of a 1950s broadcast with poor reception, he flickers and flips in fuzzy lines of black, white, and gray. When angry or worked up, the static gets darker and worse and a crackling, hissing sound like a radio between stations can be heard. This also happens in bad weather.
Divine Associations: The truth, public speaking, communal pain and suffering.
Mundane Associations: Newspapers, broadcast devices, screwdrivers, potatoes.
Common Offerings: Scrap metal, wood, tools, books, cooked food.
Common Prayers: Machinery to work right, projects to be completed by deadline, luck in publication, success in public speaking, forgetting upsetting experiences.
Blessing: Broadcast. Convincing others of the truth; voice enhancement (volume or otherwise); sharing pain or redirecting negative emotions
Affliction: Expunge. Redacting memories or information; pleasant lies or illusions; stripped of negative emotions.
Festival: Not often observed. Celebrated with the giving of speeches and a potato-based feast.
General Info and Lore: Something of an aloof god, Arthur rarely appears to any of his followers. When he does respond or answer prayers directly, he does so as a disembodied voice - through a broadcasting device if one is handy. Stories about him are much more intimidating than he is. Sometimes referred to as 'the fuzzy ghost', due to his appearance and how it's interpreted by those few who have seen him. Prayer rituals must be followed to the letter for him to pay any attention to them. Has been known to insult the grammar in poorly worded prayers. Puts out a 'God Newsletter' once a year or so, with various bits of info and updates about everyone that he happens to hear. It's a lot of gossip and festival summaries.
Domain: A bizarre, haphazard looking castle that appears to be part old English manor and part Emerald City. Vibrant colors abound. The sky appears to be filled with rainbows and kaleidoscope patterns. There is a surprising plethora of butterflies and pigs.
